Year Round Queer is an arts and literature zine that centers the Queer voices of Alaska. Work is published around a seasonal theme as a reminder that we are always present.
At our core, we are a space to publish Queer art and build community. Everything else flows from that premise.
We publish a few issues of Year Round Queer throughout the year, focused on seasonal themes. Anchorage, like many places, is experiencing a zine renaissance right now, and we are lucky to get to participate in zine focused events in town. Memorializing the experiences of our time is a community effort, and we are just one small piece of that fabric.
